Old Man

HI! I've been swamped with work or I would have been doing all the Flash Fiction Challenges -__-" But of course I'm only a high schooler so yeah... Here my entry!

Old Man
The music glides along with the wind,
Across the darkened sky
Almost, Almost as though it were a bird.
The light burns in the dark room
As the Old Man sat in wait
For the love that was lost long ago.
The old house sit stop a hill,
The gravel crunches ever so softly
And an owl whispers near by.
Nothingness is quite the Monster
And fumbles on through the land.
The Old Man rocks slightly back and forth
And he slowly closes his eyes,
He slips into a land of dreams and
She slowly walks in time.
Taking the Old Man by his hand,
They begin to embrace
Walking out the doorway,
Floating out like a feather.
Old Man looks back at him,
And realizes with quiet a fright
But She caresses his hand
And looks into his eyes.
The music glides along with the wind,
Across the darkened sky.
